Marinella Beach is one of Palinuro ‘s most picturesque bays, awarded a Blue Flag and 4 Sails by Legambiente , in the municipality of Centola . It is located on the southern side of the promontory of Capo Palinuro , Cilento , in a natural setting characterized by Mediterranean scrub, cliffs, and clear waters.
The sand is light-colored and alternates with small pebbles . The seabed slopes gradually in the first few meters , and the water takes on shades ranging from emerald green to intense blue in the deeper areas. On clear days, the sea reaches remarkable transparency. The shape of the bay, the presence of breakwaters, and the protection offered by the promontory also make the sea often calm and suitable for swimming even when the sea can be rough elsewhere.

Adding to the spectacular scenery is the Scoglio del Coniglio (Rabbit Rock) , which emerges from the sea right in front of the bay, creating one of the most characteristic views of all of Capo Palinuro. Numerous canoe, pedalo, and boat excursions depart from the beach to the sea caves of Capo Palinuro and the famous Buondormire Bay .
Compared to other beaches in Palinuro, Marinella maintains a quieter atmosphere, despite its lack of amenities. Despite offering beach resorts and tourist services such as bars and restaurants, it retains a strong connection with the surrounding landscape.

Finally, the slightly secluded location helps limit crowding even during peak periods.
