Duoglio beach in Amalfi, one of the most beautiful and exclusive on the Amalfi Coast , is located in the village of Lone, about 1.5 km from the centre of Amalfi .
It is accessed via an evocative staircase of around 400 steps or, alternatively, by sea departing from the port of Amalfi .
The view is picture-perfect: turquoise sea and cliffs plunging into the blue . The beach is composed of gravel and pebbles , framed by scenic rock faces. The waters are clear and deep , ideal for snorkeling and diving.
On site you will find two beach clubs with umbrellas, sunbeds, a bar and restaurants.
There is also a small free beach area , ideal for those who prefer low-cost relaxation.
If you want to fully enjoy Duoglio Beach, you’ll want to arrive early : the sun sets behind the cliffs around 4:00 PM. Also, if you’re walking, wear comfortable shoes , as the descent (and especially the ascent) requires some effort. Finally, if you love the sea, don’t forget your mask and snorkel, as the seabed is ideal for snorkeling and holds some pleasant surprises.
