Get ready to experience a weekend full of taste and traditions just a few kilometers from Caserta ! From 8 to 10 November 2024 , the charming village of Valle di Maddaloni , famous for the majestic Ponti della Valle , will be the stage for the 30th edition of the Apple Festival . This event, now an unmissable event for the inhabitants of Caserta and Naples, is one of the most anticipated of the season.
This year the event obtained a prestigious recognition: the “Sagra d’eccellenza” Quality Mark , awarded to the Senate of the Republic in March 2024 .
The undisputed star of the festival is the delicious Annurca Apple , typical of this area. You can taste it in all its forms at the food and wine stands scattered throughout the streets of the village . The expert local cooks will delight you with traditional dishes based on the renowned Annurca Apple, accompanied by tasty specialties such as grilled meat and first courses prepared on the spot. A great opportunity to discover local flavors!
But that’s not all! During the three days of celebration, live shows await you, with popular songs and dances, music and lots of fun even for the little ones , thanks to the dedicated entertainment. The Pro Loco “Valle” , organizer of the event, has thought of everything : from exhibitions and performances , to guided tours of the historic churches and the suggestive nature trails around the Carolino Aqueduct .
Finally, on Sunday 10 November, don’t miss the vintage car and motorbike rally , an event that attracts enthusiasts from all over the region.
