The Christmases of Naples – Intercultural Concert
An event that celebrates interculturality through music and tradition. Created by Mimmo Maglionico and curated by the Associazione Performing Art Campania , the project combines the sounds of Neapolitan folk tradition with those of other cultures, giving life to a unique musical experience. The program includes pieces dedicated to the Nativity, with readings from works such as La cantata dei pastori by Raffaele Viviani and texts that reflect on universal themes such as peace and solidarity, also inspired by the “Christmas Truce of 1914”. Between tammorra, oud, ciaramella, violin and buzuki, the concert creates a bridge between the Neapolitan tradition and the music of the Mediterranean and the world. On stage: Mimmo Maglionico & PietrArsa and Giovanni Mauriello . An event that celebrates music as a universal language and a tool for dialogue between peoples.
